The Redmond United Methodist Church congregation is a caring congregation; as such, we care about all people, no matter what their age, race, religion, ethnic group, economic strata, or gender.  We believe in empowering people, not demeaning them, and we believe all people are deserving of God's grace and the love of Jesus Christ. 

The congregation of Redmond UMC actively encourages diversity. Our church facility is deliberately located in downtown Redmond, an area of great diversity and every year we re-affirm our commitment to staying in this area. We invite all people to receive Redmond UMC as a safe place to relish the differences God made among us, while understanding we are one people in the eyes of God.

The United Methodist Church and Redmond United Methodist Church believe in the practice of "open communion," meaning that all people are welcome at the table of Christ and may freely partake in the grain of the field and fruit of the grape.
